　Pharmacological Actions：
　The product is a kind of amino-glycosides, and a broad-spectrum antibiotic. It is highly effective to E.Coli., Klebsiella, Enterobacter, Serratia, Citrobater, Bacillus Proteus, Salmonella, Shigella, and Heamophilus Influenza etc. It is also effective to Staphylococcus ( including methicillin-sensitive strains and some methicillin-resistant strains). But is has not good affection to pnenmococcus, hemolytic streptococcus and streptococcus fecalis.
Absorption, distribution and excretion：
The product is almost not absorbed after oral. but it is well absorbed after IM injection. After IM administration of 2mg/kg in 30-60 minutes, serum peak level of 7mg.L is achieved. The serum level goes down slowly, and can be detected 12 late. After intravenous infusion administration of 2mg/kg in 60 minutes, the end serum peak level can reach as high as IM administration of same dose. Burt serum peak level can be achieved as high as 2 or 3 times of the former in shorter time. The product is excreted from kidney glomerular filtration. And 80% of the dose is excreted in 24 h afte administration. The urine level of 100mg/L is achieved. But little is excreted via the bile. The product is distributed to tissues and body fluids. But little is distributed in sputum and prostate, and prostate, and penetrates the intact blood brain barrier poorly. Nelilmicin can cross the blood placenta barrier into the fetal body. the serum protein binding rate is low, only 0.30 %. Renal elimination is decreased obviously in the patients with impaired renal function and it can concentratd in body with longer half-life.
Indications： Infections caused by the pathogens such as Enterobacter, Staphylococcus, Bacillus pyocyaneus sensitive to nelilmicin, e.g. ：1. Complex urinary tract infections；2. Septicemia；3. Skin and soft tissue infections；4. Abdominal infections；5. Lower respiratory tract infections.
